iPhone 13 Might Have an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

With the 2020 coronavirus epidemic’s onset, mask use revealed a significant problem with our popular Apple technology. So, face ID did not work well with the face mask. Users had to enter the PIN code to unlock their iPhone. When Face ID fails, a temporary solution pushes Apple users directly to the PIN screen. According to reports, the Cupertino giant is working on a more permanent solution (Apple iPhone 13 in-display fingerprint sensor). So, we can expect to work it with the iPhone 13.

According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to bring back the Touch ID with the next iPhone 13. And the inclusion of an in-display fingerprint sensor in the iPhone 13 is another good thing and I think this is good news for Apple users.

According to some reports, the company is currently experimenting with in-display fingerprint technology. This means that the physical fingerprint sensor that moves to the power button with the latest iPad Air will remain a standout feature on the tablet. It will not access the next General iPhone. Instead, one can expect the recently unveiled Second General Qualcomm Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor to enter the iPhone 13. It is larger and faster than its previous-gen sensor and safer than optical sensors.

Although Apple is testing the in-display fingerprint sensor, it will not replace Face ID. Apple now wants to give users an option when they can’t use Face ID. Therefore, in-display Touch ID will work with Face ID as a biometric authentication feature.

Although Apple originally released the fingerprint sensor with the iPhone 5S, Apple, which considers it more secure, switched the fingerprint scanner to a number loaded with Face ID enabled sensors. It was redesigned in 2017 with the iPhone X. Furthermore, the report further suggests that the next iPhone will not undergo significant design changes and that Apple engineers consider this to be an ‘S’ upgrade. Whether it’s the iPhone 12S or the iPhone 13, I mean the next iPhone will include both Face ID and Touch ID.
