Another new jailbreak tweak from Hyperixa focuses on adding wallpaper images for different parts of the iOS operating system. However, the new jailbreak tweak named Vortex allows jailbreakers to add unique wallpaper images for the Today view on the widgets page and App Library. In other words, you can customize your Today View and App Library by adding a background of your choice with Vortex tweak.
Without Vortex, the background of the above interfaces is usually a blurred version of your Home Screen wallpaper. On the other hand, the background images in Vortex can be different from your current Home Screen wallpaper and will not be blurry.
After installation, jailbreakers can find a specific preferences in the settings app where they can customize it to their desire. It lets them,
- Turn Vortex jailbreak tweak on or off
- Enable and choose a custom image for the Today view background
- Enable and set a custom image for the App Library Background
The best thing is that it allows users to independently add different wallpapers for the App Library and Today view.
Additionally, if you don’t like the App Library and the App Library Disabler tweak allows you remove the App Library on iOS 14.
