Tako is a Notification priority hub and an alternative to Grupi and Axon tweaks.

Priority Hub is a Blackberry 10-inspired Lock Screen notification tweak that was released in 2014 for jailbroken iPhones. So, the concept was so popular, and some alternatives like Grupi and Axon were created to do the same on newer iOS versions after several years. However, iOS developer Xyaman this week launched a new jailbreak tweak called Tako as a modern-day alternative to Priority Hub.

Especially, Tako tweak categorizes notifications that appear to be cluttered by the apps on the lock screen for a more organized view. Moreover, the tweak also supports swipe gestures for clearing notifications from the Lock Screen.

It supports iOS 14 and provides many options to customize their user experience as they like from the Settings app.

Tako tweak Options

  • Turn on or off Tako on demand
  • A button to display test notifications to preview your changes
  • Customization option to customize the Tako as you like
  • Configure grouped notification view as you like
  • Turn on or off Haptic feedback on demand
  • Respring your device to save any changes

Furthermore, you can see more customization options by going more deeper in customization and grouped view.

Tako is one of the high-demand remakes of jailbroken installations that can be highly configured on iOS 14. You can download it for free from Xyaman’s repository via your package manager app. It is also open-source on the developer’s GitHub page.
