Every user sorts the app icons on their Home Screens differently, and Apple has introduced the brand new App Library in iOS 14.

If you find that your Home Screen is more cluttered than you wish, you may want to try the newly released and free Jailbreak tweak SortingSwipe by iOS developer Lightmann.

New SortingSwipe jailbreak tweak for jailbroken iPhone or iPad makes it easy to sort Home Screen app icons with the help of a simple Swipe. The users can access a sorting menu by swiping up on the Home Screen. It gives them various options on how to sort Home Screen icons.

As we all know, we can categorize icons by name, type, size, and more on the PC. However, iOS does not have a native icon sorting feature. So, this makes it a bit difficult for users to set them up.

SortingSwipe tweak allows users to sort Home Screen icons alphabetically quickly or hue. Besides, this tweak can save the current custom layout of your Home Screen, and you can restore it later.

When you arrange App icons to appear in A to Z order, icons are in alphabetical order. If you select Hue, put them by the predominant color of their icon. When you sort icons by color, all the green icons are placed close together. And all similar color icons are sorted together.

SortingSwipe tweak does not have options to configure and requires the user to move an icon after respringing the device to reactivate the final configuration.

Those interested in trying SortingSwipe out can download it from Lightmann’s repository. It supports jailbroken iOS 11, 12, 13, and 14 devices. Also, it is open-source and, you can get more from the developer’s GitHub page.

If you do not already use the Lightmann’s repository, you can add it to your package manager with the following URL: https://usrlightmann.github.io/.
