After you have recorded videos, you can watch them in the iPhone’s Photos app quickly, but the video playback speed is restricted to the speed it was captured. For those who prefer to change video playback speed in the Photos app as in other video streaming like YouTube, iOS developer hearsedev has released a new and free jailbreak tweak called SlowMo.

After tapping on the new playback speed option, you can see the multiple playback options that SlowMo brings to the table in the screenshot example we’ve included above, which consists of the following.

  • 2x
  • 75x
  • 5x
  • 25x
  • 1x
  • 75x
  • 5x
  • 25x

Users will be able to control the playback speed as well as experience video looping, which means they will no longer have to manually tap play to watch a video over and over again.

SlowMo doesn’t offer any configuration settings, so it’s a simple tweak. The looping capabilities are activated automatically, without the need for the end-user to intervene.

SlowMo Tweak Repository and Download

You can get the SlowMo tweak for free from hearsedev’s repository using your favorite package manager app if you’re ready to add new and helpful video playback functionality to your jailbroken handset’s native Photos app.

The tweak is open-source and works with jailbroken iOS 14 devices, according to the developer’s GitHub website. If you haven’t already used, you can add the developer’s repository to your package manager by entering URL below.
