Control Center is an advanced feature of the iPhone that users often take advantage of to enable or disable low power mode and Do Not Disturb or enable or disable iPhone’s wireless connectivity. The Control Center is essential, but the gesture can be avoided, especially when playing full-screen in landscape mode. ShyCC is a cool jailbreak tweak by iOS developer CydiaGeek. It completely disables the Pull-Down gesture for Invoking the Control Center system-wide. It also disables the Control Center on the Lock Screen and Home Screen.
The ShyCC tweak provides extra options in the settings app like disabling the Control Center in landscape mode, hiding CC grabber, and choosing between different haptic feedback intensities such as Light, Medium, and Heavy when invoking it.
The tweak provides a Respring button. But, the developer states that a respring isn’t necessary to save the changes. But if you feel the need to respring your device for one reason or another, the developer has offered the option as a convenience.
Those engaging in giving ShyCC a try for their Control Center needs can download it for free from the BigBoss repository via their favorite package manager. The tweak also supports jailbroken iOS 11, iOS 12, iOS 13, and iOS 14 devices.
