One of the best things you can do with a 3D Touch or Haptic Touch of your iPhone or iPad is to open a hidden menu by touching on Home Screen icons. You can reveal it on every app icon, even default icons. This hidden menu includes features to share the app, customize the Home Screen, and to delete the app. Furthermore, it also has unique settings that are specific to the software itself. The 3D touch menu is useful not only because it serves as a gateway for quick access to iOS app features.

The exciting thing, a newly released free jailbreak tweak called Quiet by iOS developer Greg0109 can add another functional feature to the 3D touch menu: mute notifications for individual apps.

As depicted in the example above, Quiet Cydia tweak will add a new option to the 3D touch/ Hidden menu entitled Disable Notifications.

Indeed, this is similar to stopping notifications in selected apps in the settings app. Another thing worth mention is that performing the 3D Touch or Haptic Touch gesture on the app icon results in a new option entitled Enable Notifications. It revises the original action and re-enables the notifications for the app.

Quiet allows jailbreakers to quickly and effortlessly disable notifications for an app that regularly appears annoyingly so many notifications.

Once you installed Quiet tweak for your iPhone or iPad, it starts its work. There are no options to configure. By tapping on the app icon, you can see the new action—users who want to try this newly released free tweak and download it from Greg0109’s repository. The tweak is compatible with jailbroken iOS and iPad OS 13 and 14 devices.
