Apple has slightly changed the process of deleting apps from the iPhone or iPad’s Home Screen over the years. However, to reveal the app deletion buttons, the user should enter a Haptic Touch menu before entering the ‘jiggle’ mode. In addition, Apple has replaced the iOS 13’s ‘X’ style button with the ‘–’ style button for deleting an app with the release of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. Therefore, iOS developer ExeRhythm has released a new jailbreak tweak called MinusX that brings the ‘X’-style app deletion button back.
Primarily, this aspect of the Home Screen isn’t a big thing. But if you don’t like this kind of small changes that Apple implements with every major update of iOS or iPadOS, then this tweak is a great way to get back to the familiar experience.

Notably, the MinusX tweak has been compiled using the Swift programming language and the powerful Orion tool. Nevertheless, the jailbreak community now appears to use it for new tweak development actively.
TansparentDock and Batterain tweaks, previously released by this developer ExeRhythm, are also created using the Shift and Orion tool. MinusX has been open-sourced on the developer’s GitHub page to help new developers interested in learning how to use Orion and Swift to code jailbreak tweaks.
