Apple’s WWDC 2021 event is planned to take place in June. So, there, we can assume that they will give new things about the latest iOS 15. A large number of iPhone 6s users are wondering if iOS 15 will support their 5-year-old iPhone 6s. Also, whether the iPhone 7 will support iOS 15. However, you’re in the right place to know if your device supports iOS 15 or not. Here is the complete list of iOS 15 compatible devices.
iOS 15 Supported iPhones
As you know, Apple offers software updates for old iPhones for 5 to 6 years. Last year, Apple did not release updates for the iPhone 6/6 Plus. It appears that Apple will provide no further updates for older iPhones. In particular, many iPhone owners can use their devices for a long time because of updates.
This year, iOS 15 will only support devices with A10 Fusion or later chips. Therefore, the iOS 15 update will not be available for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus released in 2015 and the original iPhone SE released in 2016. However, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus or later will get the iOS 15. Here are iOS 15 compatible iPhone devices.
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 12 Pro

In particular, Apple will release the iPhone 13 series with iOS 15 end of this year. Like last year, we can expect the iPhone 13 to be released by Apple with the new four iPhones.
The above are the compatible devices that get the iOS 15 update and include new features and performance enhancements. Therefore, supporting devices with older hardware can be a challenge as the latest software updates are often not compatible with such devices.
