The barrel was one of the first jailbreak tweaks that pacified my interest as a jailbreaker involved in jailbreaking. Barrel tweak uniquely animates Home Screen app icons with every swipe between pages on the home screen. However, a jailbreak tweak called Cylinder was relaunched in 2014 because the barrel tweak was no longer active. Cylinder Reborn is a barrel-inspired original screen paging animation tweak.
We are pleased to share the Cylinder Reborn release news by iOS developers Ryan Nair and Reed Weichler. The latest version of the tweak designed for iOS & iPadOS 13 and 14.
More than five dozen animations are available from Cylinder Reborn, allowing users to select more than one animation to randomly animate as they go left and right across the Home Screen. Moreover, you can save your setups individually through the latest feature called Formulas.
After installation, the tweak adds a simple preferences window to the settings app, and users can configure changes to their desire. Options as follows:
- Turn on or off Cylinder Reborn
- Selecting the animation effects you want
- Setting up and applying formulas
- Randomizing animation orders
You can select more than one animation from Cylinder Reborn. Therefore, the animations take place in the order in which you selected them. But you can also randomly choose their order.
This tweak is a great way to add a new feature to iOS 11, 12, 13, and 14 devices. You can download it for free from the Chariz repository via your favorite Package Manager. Furthermore, this tweak is open-source, and you can know more about it on the developer’s GitHub page.
Do you have any intention to download Cylinder Reborn on your iPhone or iPad? or have you already download it? Please, let us know your ideas in the comments section down below.
