Page dots in iOS help you figure out which page you are on the iPhone or iPad home screen at any time. Primarily, it has not changed over the years and is a helpful feature on the Home Screen. If you want to reinvigorate the dots on the home screen of iOS, iOS developer shiftcmdk has released an update for a free jailbreak tweak called AwesomePageDots for iOS 14. It adds an attractive animation to the page dots on your home screen.
You can understand how AwesomePageDots works in the video example below rather than describing it in a picture.
As you can see, AwesomePageDots tweak has added eight (8) simple animations with the iOS 14 update. However, the previous version had only one animation. It moved from one page to another with an elongated dot from one place to another.
It adds a preferences window to the settings app to select animations. Among them, you can choose any animation you like. If you want to deactivate it after installation, you need to uninstall the AwesomePageDots tweak.
Especially, users interested in trying AwesomePageDots iOS 14 can download it for free from shiftcmdk’s repository. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 14 devices. It is also open-source on the developer’s GitHub page.
