With the release of iOS 15 & iPadOS 15, Apple has given users the ability to see detailed information about photos stored in their iPhone or iPad’s Photo Library, such as the device it was captured on, location, camera specs, and more. iOS 14 & iPadOS 14 and iOS 13 don’t available this feature by default. Since most jailbreakers today use iOS 13 and iOS 14 jailbreak, it was imminent for them to use this feature to older firmware. Therefore, iOS developer MTAC has released a new and free Aperture tweak by answering “How to see detailed photo information on iOS 14 like iOS 15?”

As you can see in the screenshot example below, Aperture tweak allows users to view the detailed information of an image in the Photos app by tapping the date and time in the Navigation Bar.

This pop-up shows detailed information, and it closely matches the official iPadOS 15 and iOS 15 photo information feature in terms of detail.

Primarily, the tweak doesn’t provide an option to configure, and What you see is what you get in the end. However, by releasing this new jailbreak tweak, the developer has passed by porting a newer firmware feature to older jailbroken firmware.
