You can easily control the brightness of your iPhone screen based on your surroundings. But if I want to reduce the brightness even further, lowest brightness setting isn’t quite as low as I want. So, you can use the Reduce White Point feature in the settings app, but it requires an accessibility gesture to access it, which can be annoying. So, what if the Reduce White Point feature could be integrated directly into the Control Center’s display brightness slider? A new jailbreak tweak called AdvancedBrightnessSlider by iOS developer Jonas Schiefnersets allows you to integrates Reduce White Point into Control Center’s display brightness slider on your iPhone.

Especially, users can implement Reduce White Point feature after dragging the slider below a certain threshold in the display brightness slider interface.

AdvancedBrightnessSlider Features

After installation, AdvancedBrightnessSlider tweak also adds a dedicated preference window to the Settings app where users can configure the tweak.

  • Adjusting the screen brightness slider threshold via a slider (default 30%)
  • Enable or disable Modify Auto Brightness Settings
  • Respringing your device to save any changes

Especially when you are in the default threshold setting 30%, you can drag to the top 70% of the Control Center display brightness slider would adjust the traditional 0 to 100 brightness level. But, you can use 30% threshold to change the Reduce White Point feature to drop the brightness below the “0.”

AdvancedBrightnessSlider is an excellent tweak to the iPhone’s native display brightness controls. It also makes accessing the Reduce White Point feature easier.

Those interested in trying the AdvancedBrightnessSlider tweak can download it for free from the Packix repository. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 and 14 devices.
