Apple’s next macOS Big Sur 11.3 operating system update brings new customization options to Safari, including third-party extensions for new tabs and new window pages in the browser.
macOS 11 allows you to choose a custom background for the Safari start page. If you want to customize the browser, click on the icon in the upper right corner to select a given image, or you can choose one of your photos. If you open new tabs to a new web page, it provides a more exciting background than before.
As you know, Apple has added new options to customize the Safari browser in macOS 11.3. You can override a new window or tab page with third-party extensions from the App Store.
Other browsers have already added their customization options. In both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, you can edit new tab pages with extensions. Chrome has extra extensions to customize things like bookmarks manager.
